Report: Anthropic's corporate adoption rate surpasses OpenAI for the first time
Ramp AI Index recently released a report stating that Anthropic’s enterprise adoption rate increased by 3.8% in April, reaching 34.4%; OpenAI’s adoption rate decreased by 2.9%, down to 32.3%. Over the past year, Anthropic’s enterprise adoption rate grew fourfold, while OpenAI’s only increased by 0.3%. The report comes from Ramp, an enterprise credit card and financial automation platform that tracks the spending patterns of over 50k U.S. companies. However, the report also points out that Anthropic’s advantage may not be as solid as it appears: rising costs, computational power limitations, and the “token-based billing” model that drives the company’s rapid revenue growth could all pose threats.
