Lately, I keep seeing AI Agents say they can help you automatically run on-chain tasks, automatically switch positions, and so on. I admit I’m a bit envious of those who dare to go fully automated… but as a newbie, I still feel hesitant. Honestly, there are too many steps that really need human oversight: if you don’t carefully check the signature, you might authorize unlimited limits, and you won’t know if something goes wrong later; cross-chain/bridge transactions can get stuck with just one mistake, and no matter how smart the Agent is, it can’t cover your losses; and in contract interactions, those “seemingly normal” phishing pages rely on people to be suspicious and cautious.
Airdrop season is now being turned into a task platform that feels like clocking in at work, with points systems making me want to be lazy and just hand it over to a bot… but the more I do that, the more I feel I need to leave myself a “final confirmation”: only give the smallest limits, double-check addresses, and observe unfamiliar contracts first. Take it slow, better to be cautious than to be a leek (victim).
