Recently, I saw everyone linking ETF capital flows and U.S. stock market risk appetite into a story that "cryptocurrency will definitely rise/fall tomorrow," basically just attention economy feeding your emotions. When the hot topics change, you chase after them again. I used to be easily influenced by the rhythm too, but I’ve learned my lesson: first check the narrative, whether the inflows are actual spot buying or repositioning, and whether there’s a real on-chain demand that matches; otherwise, I just use macro as a filter.
Now I’ve actually set smaller goals: not chasing "the next narrative wave," just aiming to make fewer mistakes twice. Every day, I only do one thing — review the few data sources I follow, and if something feels off, stay on the sidelines/reduce positions; if I miss out, I miss out. Anyway, most of the time, it’s not that I don’t understand, but that I can’t resist joining the excitement. That’s it for now.
