Senate Banking advances crypto market structure bill with bipartisan committee vote

Senate Banking advanced the crypto market structure bill after adopting seven amendments and winning support from Sens. Ruben Gallego and Angela Alsobrooks. Lindsay Fraser said this was the first time a market structure bill had passed out of the Senate Banking Committee and moved toward a floor vote. Fraser said Senate negotiators still need to merge the Banking and Agriculture committee versions before a final floor vote.
