Just checked out which richest countries in Asia rank highest by GDP per capita and honestly some of these surprised me. Singapore's obviously at the top, but didn't expect to see Brunei and Bahrain up there so high. Qatar, Israel, and UAE all crushing it too. Japan and South Korea are solid but ranked lower than I thought given how developed they are. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait making the list shows how oil wealth really changes the game. Interesting how the richest country in Asia by this metric isn't always the one you'd think of first. Makes you wonder how these numbers shift when you factor in cost of living and actual purchasing power. Anyone from these places? Would be curious to hear what it's actually like living in these economies.
