Just found out there are actual animals richer than most of us lol. Like, Gunther VI is a German Shepherd sitting on $500 million from some countess's inheritance. That's not even the wildest part.

There's this cat Olivia Benson (Taylor Swift's Scottish Fold) that's worth around £77 million just from appearing in music videos and ads. Then you've got Grumpy Cat who turned being perpetually angry into $99 million through merch and sponsorships. The richest animal in the world might actually be these inheritance cases though - Tommaso the Italian black cat got $13 million when his owner had literally no one else to leave it to.

Some of these stories are insane. A hen named Gigoo inherited $15 million. A Chihuahua called Conchita got a whole $8.3 million mansion in Miami plus $3 million cash. Even Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette was making serious money from modeling gigs back in 2014.

I'm genuinely wondering if the richest animal in the world is just chilling somewhere right now, completely unaware they're worth more than entire companies. Trouble the Maltese was left $12 million but that got knocked down to $2 million in court, so even pet inheritance isn't guaranteed wealth I guess. Wild that someone can literally be the richest animal in the world just because their owner decided they deserved everything.
