CryptoWorld News reports that the standard proxy wallet for TON will be launched on April 28, 2026, allowing Telegram AI bots to hold user-funded wallets and spend within strict limits as semi-autonomous financial participants. The TON technical team stated that these “self-custody wallets” are designed to provide native fund transfer methods for autonomous AI agents on TON. Each AI agent can create its own on-chain wallet, directly funded by users, with the agent autonomously managing the balance, and users can revoke ownership at any time. TON emphasizes that “no intermediary holds funds at any point,” and existing wallets can integrate with this scheme without upgrades. The proxy wallet design adopts a divided control architecture, where users retain the master key, and the proxy gains limited contract-level permissions to initiate transfers, swaps, and DeFi interactions within predefined budgets. Telegram itself becomes the user interface and distribution layer, allowing users to directly request the bot in chat to “create a wallet,” and have it perform payment services, token swaps, or execute transactions. This move transforms AI agents from assistants into participants, shortening the gap between conversation and settlement.
