Just checked the latest numbers on top assets by market cap and it's wild how the rankings have shifted. Gold still dominates at $27T, but what caught my eye is Bitcoin's position — it's now sitting around $1.6T in market value, which is still massive when you think about it. The real story though is how tech has completely reshaped the top asset landscape. NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Apple are all in the $3-4T range, basically neck and neck. What's interesting is seeing Bitcoin compete at this scale — a few years ago people laughed at crypto, but now digital assets are genuinely part of the top asset conversation alongside traditional wealth stores. Silver's also doing decent at $2.7T, showing precious metals still matter. Amazon, Meta, and Broadcom round out the tech dominance. The gap between traditional assets like gold and modern tech is narrowing, which tells you something about where money's flowing these days. Pretty interesting to see how quickly the market cap rankings can evolve.
