Have you always wanted to understand how selling NFTs works? Well, I decided to explore this universe and will share the step-by-step process I discovered.

First, you need a wallet. MetaMask is the most obvious choice here — it's easy to install and works with almost everything. Download it, create your wallet, keep that seed phrase in a safe place, and you're all set. This is your key to everything.

Next comes the part of adding Polygon. Many people don't know, but you can work with different blockchains. Go to Settings, then Networks, and add Polygon (Matic). It's quick, and afterward, you're connected to a network with much lower fees.

Now, it's time to enter OpenSea. Connect your MetaMask there and link everything. Then, just create your own collection — give it a cool name, write a meaningful description, add a representative image. Your collection is ready to receive art.

Here's an important detail that many ignore: the fees. On OpenSea, you pay about 2.5% on each sale you make. That's not little, so think carefully about your pricing strategy considering this.

To create the art itself, you don't need to be a professional artist. There are AI tools like DALL-E, Artbreeder, and DeepArt that generate amazing images. Experiment, play around, see what good results you get.

When minting your NFT, upload the image, add a name, description, and special attributes if you want. Click create, and voilà — your NFT is on the blockchain.

Later, you can edit your collection whenever you want, organize items better, highlight key pieces. Keep everything presentable because that influences whether people will want to buy.

When it's time to sell an NFT, it's pretty straightforward. Go to the item's page, click sell, set the price or put it up for auction. Confirm and keep an eye out — buyers will appear.

When someone buys your NFT, the transaction is recorded on the blockchain, you receive the money in your wallet, and fees are automatically deducted. Just like that.

In the end, selling NFTs can be quite profitable if you know what you're doing. Follow this guide, study the market, create good art, and start exploring. The potential is there — it just depends on you to take advantage.
