# An AI agent has been added to the Diia app

In the Ukrainian state app “Diia,” a personal AI agent based on Google’s Gemini has appeared. The assistant helps users find and access services faster right in the chat—this was reported on the service’s official Telegram channel.

“You no longer need to search for the required service yourself. Write ‘Diia.AI’ what you need—it will guide you, select a service tailored to your situation, and suggest the next steps,” the announcement says.

To use the assistant, you need to update the app, after which it will appear in the bottom menu.

Source: ForkLog. The assistant can:

• provide consultations regarding services in “Diia” around the clock;
• select a service for a specific life situation;
• generate a registration location extract for an adult or a child directly in the chat;
• inform users about fines for violations of traffic rules;
• provide step-by-step instructions—for example, how to open an FOP.

“‘Diia.AI’ is not just a chat bot. It is an AI agent that not only answers, but also helps carry out actions,” developers noted.

In September, Ukraine launched the “world’s first” state AI agent on the “Diia” portal. Initially, it operated in the format of an open beta test.

Recall that in November, the country’s government began a joint initiative with Nvidia to create sovereign artificial intelligence.
