Figure AI hosted a live stream of humanoid robots sorting packages.
IT Home reported that the robot has been working for 33 hours, handling over 40k packages; the task is to keep the package labels facing down before placing them on the conveyor belt.
There were also some glitches during the live stream, occasionally pushing packages off course.
This live stream easily sparked debates. It demonstrated that the robot can perform repetitive tasks effectively, but also indicated that it still falls short of fully replacing humans and requires on-site backup.
