Lately, I've come across a bunch of interpretations like "On-chain large transfers = smart money is coming," and I almost can't help but laugh like a cat... Money moving doesn't mean people are getting smarter; sometimes it's just a platform moving hot and cold wallets, which has nothing to do with whether you and I buy or not.

Speaking of cross-chain stuff (whether it's IBC or other messaging protocols), when you transfer once, you're actually trusting a series of things: that the source chain won't cause trouble, that the verification/relay system won't go offline or act maliciously, that the target chain can correctly verify the message, and that the bridge's contracts/permissions won't be drained with a single click... Basically, it's "I trust more than one chain." So I now treat cross-chain like going through security checks: the fewer steps, the better; small amounts multiple times, and don't put your entire fortune into a single "seemingly smooth" channel. Anyway, a sense of security mainly depends on your own diversification.
