Has U.S. regulation suddenly changed face?

Behind the CLARITY Act, the real big chess game has begun.

What did U.S. regulators' attitude towards the crypto industry look like a few years ago?
Like watching children play with fire.
Constant warnings, daily investigations, daily lawsuits, the entire industry has been driven to nervous breakdown by the SEC.
As a result, now, the CLARITY Act is starting to push for legislation on crypto market structure. Many people are instantly confused: Isn't the U.S. trying to kill crypto?
Actually, no.
What the U.S. truly wants to do is not eliminate crypto, but control it.
The reason is simple: if the U.S. completely rejects the crypto industry, funds and innovation will flow directly to Europe, the Middle East, and even Asia.
And the biggest fear of dollar hegemony is not volatility, but financial innovation breaking away from the American system.
So now, the U.S. strategy has clearly changed: rather than banning, it’s better to regulate; rather than driving away, it’s better to incorporate into the system.
This is also why the market is becoming increasingly optimistic.
Because once rules are clear, the huge liquidity of the U.S. capital markets will truly flow into the crypto space.
At that time, the entire industry scale might be completely different from its current level.
But don’t be too naive.
The core goal of regulation is never “help retail investors get rich,” but to maintain financial order.
So in the future, the industry will definitely become more regulated, but also more brutal.
Many projects that relied on stories to pump prices in the past may not survive at all in the future.
The market will become more like traditional finance: the strong get stronger.
The most interesting scene in the crypto world now is: those who once opposed regulation are now eagerly awaiting its implementation.
Because everyone finally understands — a market without rules is hard to attract real big money. #Gate广场五月交易分享
