Just read that the oldest countries in the world have a fascinating history. Iran is said to be leading with 3200 BC, followed by Egypt around 3100 BC. Interesting that Vietnam is also extremely old at 2879 BC. China comes later at 2070 BC, even though people always think it’s older.



The list shows that Armenia, North Korea, and India are also ancient. Israel and Georgia then around 1300 BC. The oldest countries in the world thus have roots dating back thousands of years before our era. Probably based on the earliest known governments.
