Just been looking into this Snorter Bot thing that's been making noise in the Solana community. It's basically a Telegram trading bot designed to compete with the expensive sniper tools whales use, except it runs directly in your chat. The whole appeal is speed and cost — we're talking sub-second execution and way lower fees than Maestro or Banana Gun. Snorter charges 1.5% base but drops to 0.85% if you hold their token, which is actually competitive compared to what's out there.

The bot handles the usual stuff: sniping, limit orders, stop-losses, copy trading, and it has built-in rugpull detection which is honestly useful given how many scams launch on Solana daily. The example they use is Peanut The Squirrel, which pumped 350% in the first hour — the kind of move you'd never catch on Raydium or DEXTools because of slippage and MEV. Snorter's supposedly designed to catch those entries before they're gone.

Their token, SNORT, just started presale and already moved some volume in the first hours. They're positioning it as a meme coin with actual utility, similar to how Bonk attached BONKbot and BONKBets to their ecosystem. The market for AI-powered trading tools is supposed to grow from like $40 billion now to $985 billion by 2034, so the timing makes sense if this actually executes.

Multi-chain expansion is on the roadmap too — starting with Ethereum and other EVMs. Whether Snorter actually becomes a 10x or just another presale that fades depends on if the bot actually delivers on speed and if people actually use it beyond the initial hype cycle. The fees are low enough that it could gain traction among retail traders tired of getting frontrun. Still early to say if it's different enough from existing bots to stick around, but the execution speed claim is worth watching.
