Recently, I started researching something that not many are paying attention to: how these ISO 20022 cryptocurrencies are positioning themselves within the global financial system. It turns out that for the past few months, this standard has become the norm for financial communication in SWIFT and other systems. Although no cryptocurrency has official certification, there are several projects that were specifically created with this in mind.

Ripple's XRP is probably the most obvious — it was designed from the beginning for fast cross-border settlements. But there are others also in the conversation. Stellar with XLM aims for cheaper payments and financial inclusion. Hedera with HBAR positions itself for enterprise transactions. Algorand offers scalable smart contracts. Quant with QNT talks about interoperability between blockchains, which is crucial for this to work. IOTA focuses on IoT payments, and XinFin with XDC specifically targets commercial finance.

The interesting part is that all these ISO 20022 cryptocurrencies could greatly facilitate institutional adoption. If the traditional banking system needs to communicate under this standard, and these projects are already prepared for it, it makes sense that they will gain traction. But of course, the crypto market remains volatile, and caution is necessary.

You can check out these assets on Gate.io or wherever you usually trade. The point is to do your own research before investing money. Which of these projects do you think has the most realistic potential?
ALGO-4.55%
