The US, Canada, and Mexico World Cup broadcast rights have been secured by CCTV.


It previously demanded 300 million USD, but the parties couldn’t reach an agreement. Now it’s down to 120–150 million USD—although it’s still higher than the previous 80 million USD, CCTV is still willing to accept it.
Once the Chinese national football team makes it to the World Cup, CCTV won’t just accept 300 million—5 million could also be acceptable 👀👀
