Techub News reports that, according to CryptoBriefing, Google has officially launched the Googlebook laptop platform based on the Android system, merging ChromeOS and Android into a unified experience and deeply integrating Gemini AI features. The new platform supports Magic Pointer hover interactions, custom widget creation, and direct connection to Android phone file systems. Manufacturers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo have confirmed their participation in hardware manufacturing, with the first batch of devices expected to be released in fall 2026.
