Execution is the primary productivity

A few days ago, the professor guided fan Lotus Mei to short $GTC , and she persisted until today, successfully quadrupling her gains.

First, let's talk about Lotus Mei.
From our chats, you can see she is the kind of fan who is carefree and emotionally volatile. When she was trading on her own before, she would make profits and then run, or hold on stubbornly during losses—she even told me herself that she was almost "going to the bottom"—to be honest, she had almost no execution ability before, just like most retail traders who make small profits and big losses, taking profits quickly and holding multiple positions daily, never cutting losses on a single trade until liquidation.

After following me, I always had only one requirement for her: whether taking profit or cutting loss, she must follow the instructions and not act on her own.

Before entering each trade, I would prepare her mentally—explain the profit target, the stop-loss line, and what situations might occur in between.

After a few trades, her change has become very obvious.
Although she still tends to be impatient verbally, her execution ability has improved significantly.
Take this short $GTC trade as an example:
From the first day of entry, every time the price dropped, her heart would tighten. Profits went from 1x to 1.5x, then to 2x—each time doubling, she would come ask me: "Professor, should I close the position early?"
It’s clear she was very conflicted and scared inside.
Although she kept asking me, she held back and would manually close her position early before.
But this time, she never manually took profit early; she followed the professor’s steps, gritted her teeth, and held until today.
Until today, nearing the profit target, she finally couldn’t resist her restlessness and messaged me, venting her feelings from these days.
In just a few minutes, she told me countless things—every small fluctuation in the market affected her mood; every candlestick move seemed to test her willpower.
But she endured.
Lotus Mei proved one thing with her experience:
Skills can be learned slowly, mindset can be refined gradually, but without execution, everything is zero.
Execution is the primary productivity needed to survive in this market.
