Just a reminder: U.S. stocks enter daylight saving time starting today. The market open time has been changed to 9:30 PM, and the market closes at 4:00 AM the next day—please keep an eye on market volatility during this period.

In the coming days, several important economic data releases are coming up to watch: On Tuesday, March 14th at 8:30 PM, February CPI will be released. The annual rate forecast is expected to drop from the previous value of 6.4% to 6%, and the monthly rate forecast is 0.4% (previously 0.5%). On Wednesday, the 15th, at the same time, February retail sales will be released. The previous value was 3%, and the forecast is only 0.2%, which could lead to significant fluctuations.

On Thursday, the 16th at 8:30 PM, there will be initial jobless claims. On Friday, the 17th at 10:00 PM, the one-year inflation expectation will be released. These are all key indicators the market is paying close attention to. Finally, at 2:00 AM on the 23rd, the interest rate decision will be announced—this is the big one, and there will certainly be clear volatility at that time.

Overall, during this period, the U.S. stock market opening times have been adjusted, and there are also a bunch of important data releases and decisions. If you’re trading, pay special attention to time milestones so you don’t get caught off guard by sudden market moves.
