I just reviewed some fascinating statistics about global wealth distribution, and honestly, it's mind-blowing. How many millionaires are there in the world is a question many ask, and the answer shows you how wealth is truly concentrated.
We’re talking about approximately 60 million millionaires worldwide. It sounds like a huge number until you put it into perspective. Then there are the billionaires, just about 3,148, and this is where things get serious. Only 19 people have fortunes exceeding $100 billion, and just 6 reach $200 billion.
But what catches my attention the most is that there is only one person whose wealth surpasses $800 billion. Elon Musk, with his net worth of $849.3 billion, represents a level of wealth concentration that we probably haven't seen in modern history.
This makes me think: while we observe how these monumental fortunes are built, what are we doing with our own assets? Are we just watching others multiply theirs, or are we truly taking action to build our own? The gap between observing and acting is where many get stuck.
