Recently, everyone has been watching "on-chain data" to make judgments every day, and I actually feel a bit anxious... To put it simply, the transfer or transaction you see may not be "happening right now." The nodes, RPC, and indexing services you use are like takeout: the restaurant has already prepared the order, but if the rider takes a detour or the platform experiences a delay, your phone will show it a few minutes late, and the order may even be out of sequence.

Airdrop season is even more obvious. Once the task platform switches to a points system after the "female witch" event, the grab-and-claim community works like clocking in at a job, all rushing to be "first." But if your data is a bit slow, it's easy to think you missed out and start making reckless moves. Anyway, I now treat on-chain data as having some delay; the less chasing, the better. I still stick to my old habits of dollar-cost averaging and rebalancing, and just wait it out slowly.
