BlockBeats News, May 15 — Analyst Murphy said that the first-buying Bitcoin addresses (First Buyers, FB) are bringing fresh liquidity into the market while absorbing excess distribution. As of data on May 13, the amount of Bitcoin held by first-buying addresses has returned to 3.719 million BTC, up 40,000 BTC from May 1.

The continuous buildup by new buyers reflects a gradual rebound in investors’ risk appetite. Compared with the previous cycle, the current 3.72 million is comparable to September 21, 2022. The analyst believes that once new buyers’ holdings reach more than 4 million BTC, the overall market structure will become healthier, and at that point it can basically be confirmed that it will no longer easily experience a sharp drop or break below prior lows.
