I recently came across some interesting data: Pakistan's population has reached 254 million, which surprised me a bit. It's worth noting that Pakistan is the fifth most populous country in the world, accounting for about 3.1% of the global population, which is actually quite a high proportion.

Even more interesting is that Pakistan's population growth rate is quite rapid, with an annual growth rate of 1.57%. Additionally, the country's population structure is very young, with an average age of only 20.6 years, meaning most people are still in the early stages of their working careers. It is estimated that by mid-year, Pakistan's population could surpass 255 million.

Just think about it—such a population size and growth rate pose significant challenges for a country's economic development and resource allocation. The youthful characteristic of Pakistan's population is indeed a unique advantage, but it also requires substantial investment in education and employment opportunities to support it.
