Situation Report
At around 2:00 PM on May 11, 2026, a leak occurred at the lower western side of Sugar Molasses Enhancer Liquid Tank No. 1 at Guangxi Duibi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. After the incident, the company immediately launched its emergency plan to carry out response measures. After receiving the report, the People’s Government of Gangbei District quickly organized departments including emergency response, fire rescue, and ecological environment to carry out on-site response work. By 4:40 PM, the leak point had been sealed. Collection and disposal of any sugar molasses enhancer liquid that had spilled are ongoing. The ecological environment department is conducting environmental monitoring to prevent secondary disasters caused by the spilled sugar molasses enhancer liquid. The accident caused no casualties. The specific cause is under further investigation.
