I used to really think that PFP = "identity," that buying it would automatically grant access to the community, and member benefits would be automatically fulfilled; now it seems more like a ticket for attention. Whether it can become a brand depends on whether the team behind it is willing to treat the "membership system" as a product in the long term, rather than just posting a picture and then lying flat. To put it simply, PFP itself isn't valuable; continuous delivery and transparent rules are what matter. Otherwise, it's just a fleeting trending topic. Recently, with increased taxes and stricter compliance, everyone's deposit and withdrawal expectations have changed, and emotions immediately turn conservative. Non-essential things like PFP are even more likely to shift from "faith" back to "I'm just observing first"... Anyway, now I look at projects by focusing on details: how to verify benefits, how often they are updated, what to do in case of default, whether there are reproducible on-chain proofs—don't just brush me off with a phrase like "community consensus." That's all for now.
