On May 13, local time, Russian Astrakhan Oblast Governor Igor Babushkin said that the Ukrainian forces’ drones attacked a natural gas processing plant in the oblast on that day. All drones were shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare methods, but falling debris caused a fire. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire would be brought under control within a few hours, and the fire did not result in any casualties. That day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on social media that in the early hours of the 13th, Russian forces attacked residential areas and railway facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, port facilities in Odesa, and energy facilities in Poltava, causing casualties. Ukraine’s air defense forces launched a full counterattack, and by the morning had shot down and suppressed 111 drones. (CCTV News)
