BlockBeats News, May 15 — Aave Labs proposed reorganizing the Aave DAO bug bounty system by splitting different protocol modules into multiple independent bounty programs, each operated by Immunefi, Sherlock, and Cantina. Among them, the maximum bounty for critical bugs in Aave V4 is proposed to be increased from $500,000 to $2,500,000, and the maximum bounty for critical bugs in the core version Aave V3 is proposed to be increased from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.

The proposal also plans to transfer responsibility for the Aave V3 on Aptos bug bounty funding from Aave Labs to Aave DAO, and to assess the operational effectiveness of a multi-platform parallel mode over the next 6 to 12 months.
