Wu said that Aave Labs proposed restructuring the Aave DAO bug bounty system, splitting different protocol modules into multiple independent bounty programs, operated respectively by Immunefi, Sherlock, and Cantina. Among them, the maximum bounty for serious vulnerabilities in Aave V4 is planned to be increased from $500k to $2.5 million, and the maximum bounty for serious vulnerabilities in core version Aave V3 is planned to be increased from $1 million to $5 million. The proposal also plans to transfer the responsibility for the Aave V3 on Aptos bug bounty funds from Aave Labs to Aave DAO, and to evaluate the operation of multi-platform parallel modes over the next 6 to 12 months.
