I just saw Pavel Durov's new statement about TON, saying that transaction speed is about 6,000 times faster than Bitcoin. That number seems a bit exaggerated. He mentioned that after the Catchain 2.0 upgrade, TON's transaction confirmation time can be reduced to 0.6 seconds, which is indeed very fast. However, Pavel Durov's way of expressing it always feels a bit like marketing, even though the technical indicators look good, whether this advantage can truly be realized in practical scenarios depends on the ecosystem applications. TON's project performance is indeed competitive among similar projects, but compared to Bitcoin, their positioning is fundamentally different. What do you think? Is this kind of performance comparison meaningful?
