The aftereffects of Kelp being attacked—K announced the migration of cross-chain services to the CCIP protocol

Major cryptocurrency exchange K*aken has decided to cut ties with its traditional cross-chain service provider and migrate to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to ensure the security of all its future assets. K*aken said it chose Chainlink CCIP because of the protocol’s enterprise-grade infrastructure and robust risk management capabilities. The system’s infrastructure meets ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification standards and is supported by 16 independent nodes to ensure that cross-chain transfers are not affected by single points of failure. Chainlink confirmed the partnership, stating that CCIP will enable K*aken’s wrapped assets to be securely distributed across different blockchains and global markets, with the first asset being KBTC. K*aken also reassured existing KBTC customers that no immediate action is required, and that further details of the migration process will be announced through official channels. Meanwhile, LINK’s independent address activity reached a new high in eight months: Santiment recorded more than 282,000 active addresses, and LINK rose 4.7% in the past 24 hours.
