I found the demographic statistics in the Middle East interesting. Iran's population over the past 75 years has simply exploded — from 16 million in 1950 to nearly 92 million in 2025. That's a wild growth, especially when looking at the period from 1980 to 2000 — during which Iran's population increased by one and a half times.

And Israel is growing completely differently. During the same period, its population increased from 1.3 to 9.7 million. The growth rates are, of course, impressive too, but the scale is entirely different. Iran's population is simply incomparable in size.

If you look at the last 25 years, Iran's population has slowed its growth — from 65 million in 2000 to 92 million in 2025. And Israel continues to grow more or less steadily. An interesting dynamic that reflects different demographic trends in the region. Iran's population remains one of the largest in the region.
