I've long wanted to figure out which mining programs are truly worth paying attention to in 2026. I tried several options, and here’s what I’ve realized.

For those who don’t want to fuss with hardware, NiceHash is my top choice. You just connect your power, and you get Bitcoin directly to your wallet. The interface is user-friendly, and payouts are honest. The downside is that the fees are a bit high, but the convenience is worth it.

StormGain is interesting because everything is in one app — wallet, exchange, and you can start mining right there. It’s perfect for beginners, although the earning speed isn’t impressive. But you can start completely free of charge.

If you take this more seriously, cloud mining through BeMine, Bitdeer, or ECOS makes sense. There, you essentially rent hashing power and don’t worry about electricity or cooling. BeMine and ECOS allow remote management of equipment, and Bitdeer is known for stability and transparency. Of course, initial investments and patience are required.

The mining software itself is no longer just a program; it’s a full-fledged investment tool. If you choose NiceHash or StormGain, expect small but regular income. If you go for cloud mining, prepare for a long-term game.

My conclusion: for the lazy — StormGain; for active traders — NiceHash; for investors — cloud services. The choice depends on how much you’re willing to invest and how much time you want to spend. Any of these programs work, just in different ways.
