I saw that the Altcoin Season Index has dropped to 32 points, down five positions. It basically measures when 75% of the top 100 altcoins outperform Bitcoin over 90 days. The lower the index, the fewer altcoins are actually performing better than Bitcoin at the moment.
This decline is interesting because it suggests that altcoins are losing ground compared to Bitcoin. It’s not that altcoins are dead, but the market is showing a clear preference for Bitcoin right now. When you see this index drop, it usually means that the altcoin season is slowing down and investors are shifting their focus back to Bitcoin. A market dynamic worth watching.
