Today I was taught a lesson by the mempool again... I just dropped a small 12U swap position, and at that moment on the chain, it was congested. Transactions are basically "waiting in line for a call": broadcast first, miners/block producers prioritize higher fees. If you send too little, you can only hang there, and sometimes others with the same nonce will bump you off. The most annoying part is watching your wallet show pending, and your mind starts to replay: should I wait, accelerate, or just cancel and resend?
After about 38 seconds, it feels like 5 minutes. Recently, everyone has been explaining each candlestick with ETF fund flows and US stock risk appetite, but I care more about these details: during congestion, a quick emotional confirmation might just cost more tuition... That's all for now.
