I noticed an interesting trend in discussions about the development of the African continent. People often talk about the most developed countries in Africa like South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya. Yes, they are ahead in GDP and infrastructure. But that doesn't tell the full story.

Here's what I see actually. When we only look at GDP figures, we miss the main point. Economic growth is one thing, but who will dominate in the next decade — that's a completely different question.

Real power will belong to those who control the technologies. Who invest in energy. Who build financial ecosystems. Who create innovations, not just copy.

Africa is not developing in the traditional sense. It is restructuring. Literally before our eyes. And those countries that understand this are starting to move faster.

Looking at the map of the continent, I see not just economies of different sizes, but potential centers of power. Some are already building their own tech hubs. Some are betting on renewable energy. Some are creating their own financial platforms.

This is not happening by chance. It’s a strategy. And those who choose it correctly now will be ahead in 10 years.

Which country do you see as having the greatest potential? In my opinion, it’s worth paying attention not only to the GDP leaders but also to those who are most actively implementing innovations.
