Just saw Ripple's CTO Schwartz denying he's a billionaire lol. Meanwhile back in 2018 when XRP was pumping crazy, the dude was literally called Ripple's "trillion-dollar man" by Forbes. But here's the thing - he took a 2% company stake and salary instead of hoarding XRP tokens like the other execs did.

Compare that to Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO, who was sitting on close to $10 billion when XRP peaked. And Chris Larsen? His net worth hit $54 billion because he grabbed 9 billion XRP tokens early on. Schwartz was more conservative though - Forbes pegged him at $90 million back in 2019, and by 2021 he said it was actually less than $170 million. Dude's literally the only one not getting filthy rich off the token surge.

Funny enough, XRP just exploded again this year and pushed into top 3 by market cap. Larsen added like $6 billion to his net worth in a single month. Meanwhile Schwartz is probably still holding his breath over his volatile assets. The Brad Garlinghouse net worth story is wild compared to this guy's approach.
