$BTC

Technically, BTC is starting to lean bearish when you combine ETF inflows slowing, weaker funding rates, and overall market positioning shifting toward caution. Momentum on lower timeframes is also showing signs of exhaustion rather than continuation.
But the macro side is still the real problem for shorts.
US equities are printing new highs, and that risk-on spillover is keeping BTC from following a clean downside structure. Any sudden positive geopolitical headline — especially around US–China talks or easing tensions in the Middle East — can instantly flip sentiment and trigger sharp upside wicks.
So even though the structure favors downside pressure, this is not a clean trending market right now.
If you're shorting, it makes sense to keep wider margin room and avoid tight liquidation setups, because news-driven spikes are still very capable of hunting leverage before any real drop continues.
In short: bearish bias, but unstable execution environment.
