Just read that Venezuela currently has over 161 tons of gold reserves - making it the country with the largest gold reserves in all of Latin America. Whale Insider shared this on X and Odaily reported on it. Interesting that such massive gold holdings apparently aren't discussed much in the public eye. Venezuela's gold reserves are truly impressive when compared to other countries in the region. It makes me curious about how the country uses or could use these resources.
