I've tried many ways to make money online, and honestly, some work better than others. I started freelancing on Upwork and Fiverr — it's not the fastest, but if you have skills in writing or design, you can earn something from it. Then I thought I could try affiliate marketing. You simply share a link, someone clicks and buys something through Amazon Associates or ClickBank — it's not bad if you have followers.

But what really surprised me? Selling photos. I had a lot of pictures on my disk, and now I sell them on Shutterstock and iStock. It’s not much, but every month I get some income without having to work on it. Many people have also tried writing articles or tutorials — Problogger and Constant-Content have paying jobs.

If you want to know how to make money online without investing money, you have plenty of options. Blogs on Blogger or WordPress take longer to get started, but once you have traffic, you can earn from Google AdSense. YouTube is similar — you need 1,000 subscribers, then you can turn on monetization. Online courses on Udemy are also interesting if you have something to teach.

One of my friends does online tutoring through Chegg; it’s flexible time-wise. Another friend translates texts — if you speak multiple languages, it’s an easy way to make money online. Podcasting or managing social media for small businesses — that also works, just find the right clients.

But beware — there are many scams. Always verify the platform, don’t click on suspicious emails asking for your details. I’m not a fan of those data entry offers promising thousands per hour — they’re usually scams. Read reviews, check if the company exists, and never pay upfront.

Start with what you know — writing, design, languages, photography. Then choose a platform you’re familiar with. It takes time, but it’s doable. I’ve been doing this for a year, and I know that if you want to learn how to make money online, you need patience and selectivity. What methods have you tried?
