Just scrolled through BTC's journey since 2015 and honestly the volatility is wild. Started that year at $314, then $434 in 2016... feels like ancient history now. The 2017 run to $1,019 was crazy at the time, but then 2018 hit different with $15,321 peak before the dump to $3,794 in 2019.
What's interesting is how the cycle played out: 2020 saw it bounce back to $7,193, then 2021 absolutely exploded to $29,352. Last year's $47,025 looked solid until 2022's bear market crushed it down to $16,630. The recovery in 2024 to $42,660 showed the pattern again, and 2025 kicked off around $93,500.
When you look at the 2015 bitcoin price as a starting point, the long-term trend is hard to ignore even with all the ups and downs. Makes you think about what the next cycle could bring.
