Arkham maps Iran central bank wallets after $344M USDT freeze
Arkham published a wallet map it attributes to Iran’s central bank after a $344 million USDT freeze tied to US sanctions. The firm grouped the addresses into a Central Bank of Iran entity page, while OFAC had already added two Tron wallets to its sanctions list on April 24. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the freeze aimed to disrupt Tehran’s ability to move funds, and Tether said it acted at the request of US authorities.
