Techub News reports that, according to CryptoBriefing, the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) in Bhutan's Special Economic Zone has launched a fast-track licensing channel for crypto enterprises, targeting companies that have already obtained regulatory approval in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Abu Dhabi's global financial markets, integrating company registration, regulatory approval, and banking access services. The zone offers potential zero corporate income tax rates for priority industries and relies on Bhutan's abundant hydropower resources to provide green energy support. This move aims to attract cryptocurrency exchanges, fintech startups, and blockchain infrastructure providers, leveraging the credibility of existing regulatory agencies to streamline due diligence processes.
