Recently, I’ve found my mindset is also getting a “version update.” I used to think that granting permissions was just a simple click—done, no fuss. But now, every time I see a contract still set with unlimited permissions, it feels like having a pile of apps constantly running in the background on my phone. The more I look, the more my heart races. To put it simply, revoking permissions is like locking the door before going to sleep—not to protect against someone in particular, but to make myself feel secure.

Especially now that new L1/L2s have started rolling out incentives to attract TVL, the longtime users in the group are charging in while also complaining about “mining and selling.” It’s lively, sure—but I actually want to clean up all the messy permissions sitting in my old wallets first… Anyway, I’m not some fast trigger type. I’ll move slower and leave fewer traps. Tonight, I’ll treat it as a patch for myself—so I can sleep a little better.
