Recently, I've come across a bunch of PFP/member card projects talking about "long-term brand value," which sounds pretty nice, but what I care more about now is: are you giving me genuinely usable benefits, or just attention for a short burst? To put it simply, changing avatars repeatedly isn't hard; what's hard is for the community not to treat "holding" as the only way to participate.

These days, the topic of unlocking/unstaking unlocks keeps being brought up again and again. As soon as people feel the pressure to sell, many "members" instantly become chips that could be sold at any moment... I’ve also been affected a bit: I used to follow those accounts that constantly talk about narratives, thinking they had valuable info; but then I realized emotions are louder than data, so I quietly unfollowed, and now I feel more at peace.

Maybe long-term value is like a stained glass window, where the modules need to be able to fit together and let light through: the protocol side should clarify the benefits, and on-chain should clearly write the redemption paths. The rest is up to time, or it’s just a fleeting bloom. That’s all for now.
