I just realized that many people still don't understand what a rug pull actually is. This is really important, especially when there's a boom and many new projects are emerging.

So in short, a rug pull is a classic scam in the crypto world where the project team suddenly runs away with investors' money. Just imagine the rug being pulled out from under your feet—all investments disappear just like that. It has happened many times, and the victims are countless.

Their method of operation is relatively simple. First, they create huge hype with crazy promises of high returns. Then they start collecting funds through ICOs or IEOs. After getting a substantial amount of money, they immediately dump all their tokens and ghost. The result? The token's value plummets drastically, and investors lose everything.

The Squid Game token case was one of the most memorable examples. Its price skyrocketed within days, but once the team performed an exit scam, it dropped close to zero. Many people suffered huge losses from that incident.

So how do you avoid this? First, do thorough research before investing—check the team, whitepaper, roadmap, everything. Don't just jump in on a new project with insane trading volume in a short time; that's a huge red flag. Promising super high returns without risks? 99% of the time, that's a scam.

One often overlooked aspect is where to store your assets. Use a secure and trusted wallet, don’t be careless. If you're still unsure, it's better to invest in established projects with a good track record than gamble on new ones.

My personal advice: join active crypto communities, discuss with more experienced people. They can give you a heads-up if there's a suspicious project. If you're still unsure, consulting with an expert or financial advisor is also okay.

Basically, a rug pull is a real risk that you need to be aware of. But with proper due diligence, you can minimize losses. Don't be greedy, don't FOMO, research before committing funds. That’s all you need to remember.

By the way, if you want to track the market and check projects, you can look at charts or communities. Stay safe out there!
