Recently testing the Unichain testnet, I want to share the complete process—it's actually not difficult.

First, add the Unichain network in Metamask. Open Metamask, click on Networks in the top right corner, select Add Network manually, enter Network Name: Unichain Sepolia, Chain ID: 1301, Currency Symbol: ETH, and save. This way, the wallet can recognize Unichain.

Then, go to the Sepolia faucet to get test tokens. Make sure Metamask is switched to the Sepolia network, copy your wallet address, visit the Sepolia faucet website, enter your address, click Receive, and after a few minutes, you'll receive test ETH. These test tokens have no real value; they're only used for paying gas fees and interactions.

The final and most important step—use a cross-chain bridge to transfer assets from Sepolia to Unichain. I used Superbridge. After connecting your Metamask wallet, select the asset to transfer and the target chain, confirm the transfer, and it's done. Usually, it takes a few minutes to arrive.

A few reminders: be sure to verify that the cross-chain bridge is from an official or trusted source—don't fall for phishing sites. Operating on testnets still requires paying some gas fees, though not much. Cross-chain transfers carry technical risks; just experiment in the test environment, don’t use real funds. The test tokens on Unichain's testnet are purely for development purposes and have no actual value.

This way, you can enter the Unichain ecosystem, start interacting with various projects, and maybe even get airdrops.
