These days I’ve been looking at those "address profiles" again, a bunch of tags and clusters that look pretty intimidating: smart money, market making, profit groups... but honestly, I’ve always had doubts about how much I can trust them. Many accounts are just multi-signature wallets拆来拆去, cross-chain bridges back and forth, and in the end, they get labeled as "funds flowing to a certain ecosystem" and people start filling in stories in their heads.

Thinking about it later, it’s pretty funny— we just focus on a few lines and dare to draw conclusions about others.

Especially recently, with the main chain about to upgrade/maintain, everyone in the group is guessing whether projects will migrate along with it. I actually want to see if the "same group of people" are changing their identities before and after the migration: addresses not moving doesn’t mean the people haven’t changed; people not changing could also mean they’ve completely switched wallets.
Right now, I try to treat tags as hints, not evidence. I prefer to observe on-chain traces for a couple more days and avoid chasing emotional reactions.
