There was a bit of congestion on the chain just now, and my transfer was like waiting in line at the mempool to buy bubble tea, holding a number, but the person in front kept cutting in line (by paying a higher fee). Clearly clicked "Send," but the wallet seemed stuck, actually waiting for miners/packagers to pick your transaction: if the fee is too low, you wait slowly; if you wait too long, it might be replaced or returned to you to try again. Thinking about it later, I found it quite funny—I was staring at the confirmation page in a daze, thinking my internet was bad.

Recently, I've been talking about rate cut expectations, the US dollar index, and so on. Risk assets go up and down together, sometimes excited, sometimes timid, and the congestion on the chain also amplifies with the mood. Anyway, I now prefer to act during off-peak times, and for urgent matters, I just add a bit more fee honestly; if it's not urgent, I treat it as a way to calm my nerves.
