Middle East Situation | Al-Arajati Accuses Kuwait of Illegally Attacking Iran Ships, Detaining 4 People
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused Kuwait of trying to sow discord by illegally attacking an Iranian vessel in the Persian Gulf and detaining four Iranian citizens.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Araghchi said Tehran demands that Kuwait immediately release the detained Iranian citizens and reserves the right to respond. He said Kuwait’s illegal actions took place near islands used by the United States to launch attacks against Iran.
Kuwait has not issued an official response to this so far.
